Foam Tester

Unit No.: FT-003

The foam of the beer is one of the important external quality characteristics of the drink and hence reliable measuring of the quality in the laboratory is valuable.

The FT-003 Foam Tester is developed for laboratories as an advanced but cost efficient unit which can be connected to the SD-002 Sampling Device to form a standalone test setup.

Foam is generated by pressing a constant beer volume through a nozzle into a glass cylinder where the foam develops and its decay is optically measured by recognized methods. By means of two IR reflection detectors placed at the outside of the glass cylinder test results may be obtained for “Half-life” and “First-drain”.

Ease of operation and a high reproducibility of measured results are features of this unit.

Diacetyl Stand

Unit No.: DI-002

To determine when exactly a beer production is mature this unit is used to detect the diacetyl and measure when the level drops below the requested limit.

The stand is equipped with stainless steel holders and heats by gas burners or a electricity.

There is room for up to four destilling units. Each is supplied with special designed splash heads and coolers.

The diacetyl stand is also suitable for determining the amount of alcohol through the destilling method.
