The LPE is an ideal solution for cable network power when traditional equipment is too large or bulky. Designed for multiple dwelling units, the LPE is more than 40 percent smaller than a standard PWE enclosure. Engineered to work with the XM2-300HP power supply and a single 220 GXL or two 70 HPL-FT batteries, the LPE enclosure offers a low-profile solution to keep your customer’s communications alive.

The LPE uses a convective airflow system to cool the interior of the enclosure. Rising warm air draws in cooler air from the underside of the enclosure to lower the internal temperature of the LPE. Benefits of this cooling method are extended equipment life and eliminating the need for a louvered front door.

The Node Power Supply (NPS) Enclosure is an integrated CableUPS® system for use in Multi Dwelling Units (MDU), business parks, node segmentation, and plant extension applications. The NPS is specifically designed for indoor or outdoor installations requiring lower power, a smaller footprint, and embedded DOCSIS® or proprietary status monitoring capability. The NPS can be conveniently mounted on an equipment rack, wall, pole, or even a floor/pedestal by using the appropriate installation kit. The NPS is an ideal solution for backup power where traditional equipment is too large and bulky.

The UPE-M Series provides the cable operator a fully enclosed meter enclosure system meeting EUSERC requirements including high interrupt current protection. In addition to the power supply equipment tray and sliding battery drawers, the UPE-M Series enclosure system includes integral line lugs, meter base, internal wiring and internal breaker.

The Northern PWE-3/-6 is a new pole mount cable power enclosure with integrated storm hoods for use in areas where cold, inclement weather is prevalent during winter months. 

The Northern PWE-3/-6 is specifically designed for installations where wind-driven snow conditions (blizzards) are prevalent and snow ingress to standard power supply enclosure is possible. Alpha’s innovative Z-bracket design prevents snow from entering the enclosure through the louver cover or lid. It is an ideal solution for geographical areas that experience blizzard conditions and have annual high temperatures below 86°F/30°C.
