The GX-F/H Series of the rectangular proximity sensor line is an exciting new series offering an unprecedented level of stability, durability, and workability. Using advanced manufacturing techniques, Panasonic is able to create sensors that minimize part to part variance and offer a detection distance that only varies by a maximum of 0.4mm. The result is an incredibly stable detection that is suitable for usage in high volume applications where precision from installation to installation is imperative. The environmental characteristics of the GX-F/H series further solidify its high-end performance, easily surpassing conventional products.

The IP68g enclosure completely isolates the sensor from the effects of dirt, water, or oil allowing usage in very harsh environments. The series also exhibits an extremely tight deviation of sensing characteristics, +/-8%, over its usable temperature range of -25 to +70 degrees C. Add in a 10X increase in vibration in shock resistance over our previous models and you are left with the most durable proximity sensor Panasonic has created to date. Lastly, SUNX has added a metal sleeve in the mounting hole to increase tightening strength, and doubled the wiring gauge to make workability far easier then our previous models. Installation has never been easier.

The GX-U/FU series of cylindrical proximity sensors is a high-performance, easy to use solution for your metal detection needs. It features a robust mounting area that has been improved to accept approx. four times greater tightening torque than that of conventional models. Because the sensor can be securely tightened, it is suitable for use in applications that are susceptible to vibration or shock.

The series features simple a 2-wire DC hookup with an optional quick-disconnect for fast replacement. A bright, two-color indicator at the base of the sensor provides the user with easy verification of the output status. A wide range of units is available from the ultra-thin GX-5SU(B), just 5.4mm in diameter, to the ultra long-range GX-20MLU(B), with a 22mm detecting distance. Other options include resin-coated models that are suitable for use in welding environments.

The GA-311 series of inductive proximity sensors provides a high performance solution in a full-featured separate amplifier configuration. With a 3.3kHz response frequency, the GA-311 series is suitable for high-speed metal sensing applications. All of the sensor heads are IP67g rated, so they are resilient in harsh environments including water, oil, dust, or dirt. Sensor heads range from the ultra small GH-2SE, with a 2.8mm diameter, to the long range GH-F8SE, with a detecting distance of 4mm.

The GA-311 amplifier utilizes the one-touch connection interface that is common to other Panasonic/Sunx products such as the FX-300 series fiber optic sensor or the LS laser sensor. This allow for the GA-311 to be connected together with your other sensors to save power supply wiring. Large operation and disconnection alarm indicators are incorporated into the amplifier for easy determination of output status as well as faults in the wiring of the sensor head.
