Convergent Reflective Sensor for Reliable Object Detection in a Limited Area

Reliable object detection in limited area. Due to convergent distance sensing, the color or material of the object has almost no effect. Further, the background also has very little effect, enabling stable sensing. The spot-beam type EX-43T is incorporated with an OFF-delay timer. The variable OFF-delay timer is useful for detecting a printed circuit board regardless of small holes, cutouts or electronic parts on it.

The NX5 series of photoelectric sensors offers a free ranging voltage input along with a 1 form C relay output. Almost any power supply can be used due to the 24-240VAC/12-240VDC input voltage capabilities of this sensor. It's long range sensing up to 30m makes this series an extremely versatile sensor. Also, the NX5 series maintains a compact size and ensures high-reliability by having an IP66 rated body and a hermetically sealed relay output. Sensor alignment is simple by using the operation and stability indicators, and interference prevention filters are available for close mounting of two sensors.

The RX-LS200 series of photoelectric sensors provides a background suppression solution for accurate detection of various targets. The sensor is not affected by dust, color, or background due to the PSD with mechanical lens. RX Series - Amplifier Built-In Photoelectric Sensors

The Panasonic RX Robust photoelectric sensors feature a built-in amplifier and are made with a sturdy die-cast zinc alloy enclosure. The RX2-M5 thrubeam sensor has a long 5m (16.404') sensing range making it a great solution for applications such as confirming car positioning at a parking garage.

Other solutions include detecting car engines passing on a conveyor or sensing machine tools during manufacturing.

SU-7/SH Series - Slim Body Automatic Sensitivity Photoelectric Sensors

The SU-7/SH series of photoelectric sensors is a slim, compact separate amplifier detection solution for a wide range of applications. The 10mm thick slim amplifier offers simple, easy to use automatic threshold setting. Nine advanced functions are also available such as limit sensitivity setting and sensitivity shift as we well as an array of external control options and timing delays. Also, interference prevention is possible for two sensor heads to be mounted in close proximity with each other. Twelve sensor heads are available ranging from the small beam spot SH-82R (0.7mm diameter spot) to ultra long-range types like the SH-33R (2m distance). Specialized sensors are also available that offer chemical resistance or even detection of glass substrates.

The RT-610 series is a highly robust U-shaped photoelectric sensor that is suitable for your positioning or cut-mark sensing needs. Because the emitter and receiver are built into the same body, optical axis alignment is not necessary. The die-cast housing provides protection against external objects that could damage the sensor. Three models are available from a 10mm sensing area up to a 50mm area. Furthermore, several LED types are available for optimal placement in your application (Red, Green, or Infrared).

EX-Z Series - Ultra-Small Photoelectric Sensors

The world's thinnest sensor dimension of 3mm has been achieved by utilizing a new semiconductor packaging technology that does not use wire bonding. The small unit size allows installation of sensors in a narrow space where only a conventional fiber sensor head could be installed before. The built-in amplifier also saves on installation space.
